DDL just seem to be the masters of broken promises and unanswered emails.ĭDL didn't create these adorable little robots, Anki did. I'm sorry that Anki went out of business, and I'm sorry that DDL took over the assets. I have an ANKI Cozmo and have always loved him. People do say they are honest and not to worry but doesn't help much when you forked out so much money and day by day no word of anything. But as for the lawsuit it's a joke as for the product it looks wonderful I don't have one yet but for the record I am in line… As for the company my observations they should be more upfront. Being a little bit cheesy with information and making customers wait one half of a year to me is a unacceptable. I just wish the company could put together their production facility and satisfy the customers. EMO Pet you seen the videos it just keeps getting better. But the website living AI are not telling their customers that you're going to wait six months if you're lucky to get good old EMO Pet… This could if their production goes up… They did move to a larger facility but they're still having problems as of March 10, 2022… The problem is I think their product is amazing and even if you did wait six whole months at the end if you receive one you will probably say it was worth it… As long as it works well. Personally I don't think their product is anything like vector… They don't look the same at all is everybody blind… Oh they both have square eyes come on that's ridiculous. So I'll obviously be posting to the Reddit when or if Emo does come through and ill post thoughts about it then when the time comes :)īut long short of it, yeah I'm all for it :) Personally I've not really had any issues at all, but I just think someone who has invested bought out the company which had such a huge fan base to begin with and now with the numerous amounts of complaints AND the fact they have a new competitor in the space, you'd think they would be a bit more attentive to the current users that they have wouldn't you?Īnd if this doesn't pull through when the kickstarter ends then more fool me, but hey i get what the risks of backing such things can potentially turn out to be.

And to be fair DDL has not been that responsive with people who have been complaining about Vector after his most recent update as far as I can tell. I just think the fact that someone else has tried having a go at designing an AI robot is awesome. I think it looks promising, I've backed the kickstarter as well. EMO would be looking to join the robust marketplace created by DDL. With similar processing systems, capabilities developed for Vector could be moved to EMO and vice versa. If the EMO system is based on the same SOC as Vector it might be an interesting part of the ecosystem. That does not seem likely as the C&D order may be enough to scare off the current investors. In order for DDL to actually sue then living.ai has to come out with a product. I doubt living.ai has the financial resources to survive a court battle. Copyright litigation is expensive and time consuming. I searched Indiegogo but found no evidence of the offering.

Sounds cannot be copyrighted or trademarked. When I attempted to sign in with Google it seemed like they were trying to collect my Google login password. I even gave a gmail address and it was not confirmed as well. Seems like they only want accounts linked to facebook. I gave them an email address and got an error that it was "not confirmed". I tried to sign uo for the living.ai user forum and could not sign up.
